Gotthold “Butch” Schumann Jr., 68, of Loves Park, died peacefully at his home after the Lord opened his arms and he left his earthly life on August 18, 2021. He was an Army Veteran stationed in Korea and later worked as a Union Cement Mason until retiring. He enjoyed fishing (but never caught a big one), bowling, watching old western movies, and being around family. He is survived by brothers, Alonzo (Lynn) Schumann, Don (Denise) Ott, Ken (Marylou) Ott, Larry Ott, Richard Schumann; sisters, Sandi Kokas, Lorrie (Jerry) Berg, Carol (Joe) Hagen, and Pam (Norm) Sanders; one heck of a lot of cousins, nephews, nieces, and one very special Godchild, Jeremy Berg, who he loved and teased all of the time. Preceded in death by parents, Gotthold and Loretta Schumann; Sisters, Donna and Cathy; brothers, Victor and David; three nephews. ?
