Gloria Posey

*Updated Service Information* Gloria Devon Posey, 59, of Rockford passed away in her home on January 4, 2022. Born May 11, 1962, in Rockford; daughter of James and Wanda (Shell) Files. Gloria enjoyed live music and going to concerts. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed taking care of her vegetables and flowers. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to tell jokes. She was the life of the party and made it her mission to put a smile on everyone’s face. Her happy place was on the motorcycle taking in her surroundings as she rode with her husband Steve. Gloria is survived by her loving husband Steve and her puppy Tinkerbell; siblings Tim (Mary) Files, Linda (Richard) Ballard, David (Trina) Files, Melva (Gust) Lundstrom; several nieces and nephews; and siblings-in-law Lee Guarra, Sam (Carol) Powell, Gayle Posey, and Karen Howard. She is predeceased by her parents and brother Ron Files. There will be Celebration of Life on May 28th, 2022 from 12:00-4:00 pm at SM&SF Club Park 7625 Kishwaukee Road Stillman Valley, Illinois 61084.
