Geraldine Gerard

Geraldine Molly Gerard, 83, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 24, 2022. Geraldine was born on April 12, 1939, to Josephine and Henry Mallory in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Forman High School in Chicago. She went on to marry Ronald C. Gerard on May 7, 1961, in Chicago. She was a devout member of the Central Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness here locally. She is survived by her son, David (Alyse) Gerard; grandchildren, Zachary, Joshua, Sammy and Jacob; siblings, Robert Mallory, Patricia Plattos, and Marianne Griffith; son-in-law, Doug Schrank. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald C. Gerard; daughter, Robyn Schrank; parents, Josephine and Henry; siblings, Maggie Finn, William Mallory, and Bonnie Biggs. She loved her little dog Lili. She was known as Geri to most but Molly to her family. She enjoyed drawing in her younger years and relaxing and watching TV in her later years. She was very proud of her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She operated her own business "Manneclinic '' for a time and also worked at Bergner's for many years. She was very loved by friends and family alike. Known as a very sweet and caring person. She looked forward to a time when she would be reunited with her husband Ron and daughter Robyn and all other family members who have passed.
