George R. Eby

George R. Eby, Jr., 72, of Belvidere, passed away on September 14, 2026. He was born on June 17, 1954, in Highland Park, IL; the son of George R. Eby, Sr. and Delores F. Reinhardt. George and his dad owned and operated G & G Auto Body for many years.

George enjoyed gambling of all kinds and playing the lotto. He had a great sense and humor and was a jokester right up until the end. In his younger years he enjoyed going fishing with his family.

George is survived by his children George (Jamie) Eby and Jennifer Eby-Renner; grandchildren Aiden Eby, Breanna Eby-Schuppner, and Khloe Renner; great grandchild Kinsley; siblings John Eby, Christine (William) Grove, and Ni-Del (John) Shubin; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Georges Eby, Sr. and Delores Reinhardt Wilson; and his brother Kenny.
