After a long fought battle with cancer, Gary Jon Fall passed away peacefully in his home on January 3, 2023 alongside his wife, daughter, and mother.
Gary was born June 29, 1963 in Bristol, Connecticut. He graduated from Farmington High School in 1982 and enlisted in the Marine Corp upon graduation. While in the Marines, Gary served his country and forged lifelong friendships, most notably with his brother Tim Laielli. Gary held great pride in being a Marine and felt that his service shaped him into the man he became: honorable, trustworthy, and relentless. Gary met Ginger, the love of his life and best friend, while modeling, and the two wed in 1990. He spent his early years at the beach surfing and chasing weekend adventures with friends. Upon moving to Illinois, Gary began his business, G. Fall Builders, and became a dependable and honest businessman. Gary was a light to all who encountered him and dedicated his life to providing for his family. He was a family man through and through and was the proud father of Jessica and Noah Fall and grandfather to Grayson. Gary became a lifelong Crimson Tide fan after sending his daughter to The University of Alabama and would proudly exclaim, “Roll Tide!” each Saturday. Gary valued his time with family and friends and will be remembered most for his quick wit, his enthusiasm for life, and his comforting hugs. He enjoyed going out on his boat, spending time outdoors, and was an avid thrill seeker. From skydiving, to flying planes, jets and drones, Gary was always keen on adventure. His happy place was at his home on the river overlooking the sunset with his wife Ginger. He would describe his home as his, “resort” and had a deep appreciation for life and all it had to offer. Gary was an eternal optimist with an infectious smile and unwavering positivity. He would often remind those around him to, “enjoy life” which is an art that he mastered. Gary was both selfless and compassionate and cherished his time with those he loved. He was predeceased by his father William Fall, grandmother Jessie Goglin and grandfather Albert Goglin. He is survived by his mother Judith Fall, Wife Ginger Fall, Daughter Jessica Fall, son Noah Fall, grandson Grayson Fall, brother Eric Fall (Jennifer Fall), sisters Bethany Sawyer (Sandy Sawyer) and Karla Muniz (Johnny Muniz), nephew Derrick Parsons (Vicky Parsons) and his dog, Mia.
