Garry Pinkston

September 5, 1943 — February 6, 2025

Garry Ray Pinkston, 81, of Rockford, passed away in his home on February 6, 2025. He was born on September 5, 1943, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; the son of Henry and Ruby (Hurn) Pinkston. He worked at Warner Lambert for many years as a maintenance mechanic. Garry was a social person and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Survivors include his children Ronda Baker, Mark (Bobbie) Pinkston, Robin (Mike) Krupke, and Henry Pinkston; grandchildren Joshua (Monica) Listerud, Corey Baker, Travis Baker, Ryan Pinkston, EJ Sarkiss, and Meghan Krupke; 5 great-grandchildren; sister Darlene (Dave) Maurer; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; son Troy Pinkston; and sister Barbara Stieg
