Gail Walz

Gail Jean Walz, 70, of Belvidere, passed away December 19, 2022, in her home with her family by her side. She was born on July 11, 1952, in Watertown, South Dakota; the daughter of Kenneth and Elizabeth (Schaeffer) Gasper. She married James J. Walz on July 9, 1979. She worked as a machine operator for M & R Rubber Company in Belvidere. She cherished riding and spending time with her horse Pauley, the love of her life. She was also a huge cat lover. Family was always the most important thing in Gail’s life. Gail enjoyed bowling and golfing.  She is survived by her husband James; children Jim (Jodi) Walz and Jesse Walz; siblings Cheryl Duncan, Delores (Tim) Seger, Ron Gasper, and Ann (Bill) Hanson; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her maternal and paternal grandparents, parents, brother John Gasper, and sister Karen Tabatt.
