Frank Shields

Frank Shields, longtime resident of Rockford, IL passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at the age of 74. After several months of declining health, Frank died peacefully with his family and children by his side. Frank was a generous person with a big heart, never hesitating to help people out. He was known for his friendliness and often referred to others as "Kiddo". He was an aficionado of collectibles, with a deep passion for finding a hidden gem. Frank is survived by his sons Jamie Shields (Melissa), and David Shields (Carmen); grandchildren Bradley Shields, Cameron Shields, and Logan Frank Shields; brothers "Jimmy" Shields, and Melvin Shields; and former spouse Susan Melvin.
