Erik Burton Poseley

Erik Burton Poseley, 42, of Roscoe passed away unexpectedly on May 7, 2026. He was born on April 13, 1984, in Rockford, the son of Richard and Barbara (Mills) Poseley. He attended Hononegah High School.

Erik enjoyed anything to do with being outside, especially hunting and fishing. He also hunted for morel mushrooms and was fascinated by “Big Foot”. He was an animal lover, especially his dog Sissy. Erik has been an avid Green Bay Packer fan his entire life. He also attended Court Street United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his mother Barbara Poseley; sister Rebecca Salscheider; niece Ava Salscheider; nephew Mattek Salscheider; stepbrothers Steven and Billy Poseley; stepsister Lori Poseley; aunt Bonnie Hughes; cousins Tonya Edmundson, Jennifer Parsons, Jeffrey and Brian Hughes. He is predeceased by his father Richard Poseley; maternal and paternal grandparents; and uncle Robert “Chainsaw” Mills.
