Douglas James Webster, Sr. 56 years young. Born in Milwaukee, WI, passed peacefully at home on Monday, June 17, 2019, in Rockford, IL, after severe health complications. In his younger days, he loved to cook, had many different hobbies, attended a lot of churches, held several jobs and was a jack of all trades. He loves his family and cherished the memories. ? Later in life he distanced himself from God, taking the wrong path and faced many trials and tribulations, which led to addiction, and then it controlled his life. He probably wasn’t there when needed but he would show up when it mattered most. His survivors include his 4 children Douglas Webster, Jr., Kayla (Derrick) Ballard, Brad (Lyndsey) Follis; 7 grandchildren Derrick Jr., De’Eric, D-Aria, and DeDrick Ballard, Reese and Parker Follis; his siblings Dorothy Wainwright, Dawn (Bob) Hendry, Daniel Webster, and Dale (Kathy) Webster; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. I’ll see you on the other side of the stars…He was preceded in death by his parents, Kathryn Marie (Bill) Spradlin, and Charles Dale Webster; grandparents Clyde and Marion Feltz, children Angela Thompson and Justin Ralston; aunts, cousins, and a nephew. Thank you to Stateline Cremations for your services. A Home-Going Memorial is being arranged.
