Doris Nornhold

Doris Irene Nornhold, 84, of Byron, passed away on December 16, 2021, in Serenity Home in Oregon. Born July 29, 1938, in Deer Grove, IL; daughter of Oliver and Mary (Hamblock) Johnson. She was married to Monte Nornhold before he passed away on December 11, 2015. Over the years she worked for Lawrence Brothers and National Manufacturing in Sterling, IL. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a super mom and grandma and will be missed by her family. She is survived by her daughters Melissa (Dave) Christian and Vikki (Gabe) Castillo; grandchildren Kelsie, Dawson, Mattie, Baylee, and Ben Christian, Jason, Jeremy, and Brianna Castillo; great-grandson Hunter; several cousins, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents; husband Monte; siblings Bob Johnson, Sharon Johnson, and Larry “Bodean” Johnson.
