Doreen Nordquist

Doreen May Nordquist, 67, of Loves Park, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. She was born on December 27, 1955, to Joyce and Richard O’Brien in Racine, Wisconsin. She married Doug Nordquist on October 22, 1977. She loved spending time with her dear friends in Ladies of the Knight. She is survived by her husband Doug; daughters, Michelle (Scott) Kamholz of Machesney Park, IL, and Nikki Nordquist of Cape Coral, FL; grandsons, Noah Wigton of Lake Wales, FL, Joey Chilson (Haydee) of Loves Park, IL; granddaughter Emma Kamholz of Winnebago; mother-in-law, Mary Nordquist of Machesney Park, IL; sister-in-law, Suzanne Terrana of Machesney Park, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, father-in-law, sister-in-law, and many aunts and uncles. A visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with a memorial service at 11:00 AM, and a luncheon to follow, on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Riverside Community Church, 6816 N. 2nd Street, Machesney Park, Illinois 61111.
