Donald A. Hall Sr. 82, of Machesney Park, IL., passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025, in the house he had built. Don was born on December 10, 1942, to Donald W. & Catherine H. Hall. He graduated from Harlem High School in 1961.
Don retired from Ford Tool & Machining as General Manager. He enjoyed being an avid reader, a dance instructor, playing basketball and golf, gardening, as well as building a second home. He also liked to help others in many ways as they found their way through life.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Donna J. Hall, his brother, John E. Hall Sr. of Palatine, IL, two sons, Donald A. (Tony) Hall Jr. of Sheboygan, WI., David A. Hall of Rockford, IL. In addition to three grandchildren, Chelsea Shimondle, Geordi Hall, and Shelby Hall of Machesney Park, IL., with four great grandchildren. Preceded in death by both parents, three brothers, one sister, and one nephew.
