Dolores J. Zick

Dolores “Dee” Zick, 96, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026. Dee was the daughter of Fred and Lila Lother. She was married to Donald Zick on February 25, 1953. She was known as “Grandma Dee” by those who loved her.

Dee is survived by her sister, Alicia; her daughters, Sue (Duane), and Nancy (Steve); her daughter-in-law, Cindy; Her grandchildren Josh (Linda) Zick, Kori (Fernando) Escalante, Caleb (Carolyn) Zick, Christina Swanson, Nicole Swanson (Fiancé Richard), Ashley (John) Mennenga, Heidi (Mario) Lara, Matt (Erin) Bedows and their families. She is preceded in death by her husband, Don; son, Ron; parents, sister-in-law, Hazel; and brother-in-laws, Dave and Bob.

Visitation will be held from 10 am to 11 am on Friday, September 25th, 2026, at Central Christian Church 6595 Guilford Rd, Rockford, Illinois, with memorial service to follow at 11 am.
