Diane Mullen

Diane “Annie” (Fowler) Mullen, 69, of Rockford, passed away on November 24, 2022, at River Crossing Nursing Center. She was born on November 2, 1953, in Rockford, IL; the daughter of Kenneth and Marion (Haley) Fowler. Annie was married to Terry Mullen for 25 years. He died in 2009. She loved scratch offs, playing cards, and going to the casino. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dave Burton for his kindness, to Cathy Puckett for her friendship and her gift of time to Annie, and to Rev. Aaron Downing for anointing and administering The Sacrament of the Sick. Annie is survived by her brother Mike Fowler, sisters Kathryn (Thomas) Tulley, Mary Jo Fowler, and Margaret “Maggie” (Steve) Carlson, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, brothers Pat and Joe Fowler, and sister-in-law Mary Fowler. There will be a private family service held at a later date.
