Diane Budzyn

Diane Glenda Budzyn, 83, of Poplar Grove, Illinois, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. She was born on November 22, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, to Edith and Glen Fero. She attended Lakeview High School and made many lifelong friends. On April 23, 1960, Diane married the love of her life, Robert W. Budzyn, who she had been with since her early teenage years.  Diane and Robert had spent the last 18 years in North Port Florida, where she enjoyed flower gardening, line dancing, and especially shopping. She made sure to make time for her shopping each week. Most importantly, Diane was loved by all. She knew how to light up a room with her good heart. Diane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend who will be missed by so many.  She is survived by her husband of almost 63 years, Robert; daughter, Lori (Patrick) Barker; son, Robert Budzyn; grandchild, Tristin Barker; too many wonderful friends to name.  Diane was preceded in death by her parents.  Services for Diane will take place Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1045 Belvidere Rd., Belvidere IL., 61008 with a visitation from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., with a service to immediately follow at 11:00 A.M. A luncheon will follow.
