Dennis Niday

Dennis passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on April 30, 2026. He was born on June 28, 1963, in Rockford, Illinois, and graduated from Jefferson High School. Dennis began his career working alongside his cousins at Miller Trucking & Excavating and later worked at Muller-Pinehurst, where he met the love of his life, Michelle.

Dennis had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. One of his most cherished memories was going on hunting trips with his father to Balsam Lake, Wisconsin. He also took great pride in maintaining his home and was always willing to lend a hand on projects for family and friends.

Those left to cherish Dennis's memory include his beloved wife, Michelle; his daughter, Caley (Nick) Richter; his adored granddaughter, Remi, and a grandson on the way; his parents, Richard and Sandra Niday of Rockford, Illinois; his in-laws Thomas and Beverley Ringel of Crystal Lake, Illinois; along with numerous extended family members and dear friends.

A gathering to celebrate Dennis's life will be held on Saturday, June 27th. Location and time to be determined.
