Dennis Golonka

August 5, 1942 — July 15, 2025

Dennis J. Golonka, 82, of Davis Junction, passed away peacefully in his home on July 15, 2025. He was born on August 5, 1942, in Chicago, IL; the son of Ted and Laura Golonka. He married Deborah L. Milham on August 4, 1990, in Chicago. He worked in the auto industry as a buyer, parts manager, service writer, and did body work. He got started at Nicky Chevrolet but also worked for Ford and Mazda. After retiring he started driving the school bus. Dennis was of the Catholic faith. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars, watching westerns, and was on the hunt for a good deal. He loved animals, especially his dogs. He was also a friend to many and will be missed.

Survivors include his loving wife, Deborah; children Douglas (Karen) Golonka and Marcia (Rudy) Cisneros; grandchildren Rachel and Daniel Golonka, Austin and Aaliyah Milham; and his dog Spunky. He is predeceased by his parents Ted and Laura Golonka; son Eric Milham; and his dogs Heidi, Holler, and Hoot.
