Dawn M Hoed

May 17, 1966 — Oct 10, 2026

Dawn Marie Hoed (Dull) was born to Robert Leroy Dull and Linda Marie McKenna on May 17th, 1966, and died unexpectedly at 60 years old on October 10, 2026.

She was predeceased by her mother Linda McKenna, her brother Marc Dull, and her grandparents Marcella Faulkner (Coffman) and Charleen Dull-Monroe. Survivors include her father Robert (Bob) Dull, her brothers Rob Dull and Troy Dull, her four beautiful children Jesse Hoed (son), Lynn Austin (daughter) David Austin (son), and Harold (Bo) Austin (son), and her beloved nieces and nephews.

Dawn Graduated from Harlem High School in 1984 early due to her academic achievements, but most importantly she carried what turned out to be a lifelong friend, Sherrie Harper, with her from early high school throughout all her changes in life with love, support, and a big heart. Many who knew Dawn would describe her as sassy, smart, kind, and forgiving. When she wasn’t cleaning up house or serving smiles as the occasional bartender her beautiful mix of personality was expressed through her tender care for a variety of different plants, furniture restoration, ceramic paintings, any crafting endeavor, her trope of books, and the nostalgic kick of crisp freshness, notoriously accredited to her Coca-Cola memorabilia collection.

Above all, Dawn’s greatest achievement was her children. As one mentions, her favorite word was “Joy”, and that is just what they were to her. Some of Dawn’s fondest memories were of the time spent with them out at the farm, and she carried them with her wherever she was: to her daughter, who carried her strength and quick wittedness with fond memories of being chaperoned for school events and singing out together whether that be in the car or dancing around a kitchen, and to her sons who were her light and heart on her sleeve with memories of her always having fun and her bright smiling cheeks.
