David Trenholm

July 30, 1955 — November 17, 2024

David Gene Trenholm, 69, of Rockford, passed away in his home on November 17, 2024. He was born on July 30, 1955, in Rockford: the son of Ralph and Geraldine (Pritz) Trenholm. David was a Vietnam Veteran and worked in construction and lumber yards before retiring and where he enjoyed collecting old and rare coins and his daily cup of coffee.

He is survived by his former spouse, Debbie (Smith) Trenholm who had two children David and Dusty Trenholm; grandchildren Christopher, Sean, and Kady Trenholm; sisters Linda (Haigley), Sharon (Busche), brothers Ralph, Robert, Michael, and Andrew Trenholm; daughter-in-law Danielle (Burk) Trenholm and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

David is predeceased in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Alano Club of Rockford, 1210 11th St, Rockford, IL 61104 on November 24, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. Please join us as we honor the memories and cherish the moments we shared together over a late lunch.
