Darrell F Gray

Darrell Frank Gray, 63, of Rockford, passed away on May 27, 2026, at St. Anne’s Place. He was born on May 22, 1963, in Chicago, the son of Frank and Shirley (Benton) Gray.

Darrell married Cynthia Boshears in 1981. He worked in hydraulics most of his life. He enjoyed music, especially rock and roll and country. He was talented in a way that he could name a song and the group within a few notes. Darrell would spend time watching movies and always loved to be with his grandchildren. He liked all types of motorcycles, if it had two wheels he would ride it.

Survivors include his wife Cindy; children Frank and Crystal Gray; grandchildren Lyam Gray and Westin Graham; sister Sandra Gray; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and sister Tammy Gray.
