Daniel Cunningham

Daniel A. Cunningham, 65, of Rockford, passed away on October 4, 2023, at PA Peterson at the Citadel. Born August 10, 1958, in Rockford; the son of Stanley and Betty (Noe) Cunningham. Daniel graduated from Boylan High School in 1977 and went on to graduate from Northern IL University with his bachelor’s degree. He worked for the Epilepsy Foundation as a case worker for 22 years and then worked for Salvaged by Sonya’s. He was an avid artist. Survivors include his sisters Dodie (Mark) Degener, Dianna (Jeff) Limberg; sister-in-law Holly Cunningham; nieces and nephews Shannon Cunningham, Jason (April) Limberg, Katie (Brian) Cottrill, and Lucy (Zach Hitchcock) Degener; and many great nieces and nephews. Daniel is predeceased by his parents; brothers Douglas and David Cunningham; and nephew Andrew Cunningham. A Celebration of Life will be held from 12 pm to 3 pm on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at the American Lombardi Society, 209 Olive Street Rockford, IL 61107.
