Daniel Carpenter

Daniel L. Carpenter, 37, of Rockford, passed away on June 1, 2022, in Swedish American Hospital. Born March 29, 1985, in Des Moines, Iowa; son of Daniel and LaDonna (Rosenbalm) Carpenter. Daniel had been working as a machinist at Spider, Inc with his dad. Daniel loved the outdoors, especially tubing, fishing, and camping. He enjoyed racing anything with a remote control whether it be cars, trucks, boats, etc. He enjoyed watching movies and Sponge Bob, he also loved music and he was a sucker for a good love song. Most importantly, he enjoyed being with his family. He will be missed.  He is survived by his parents Daniel and LaDonna Carpenter; the love of his life Anita Burgett; siblings Stephanie Kendall, Alan Kendall, and Theresa Carpenter; several nieces and nephews; maternal grandparents Melvin and Marsha Rosenbalm; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his brothers Clint and Andy Carpenter, and his and paternal grandparents. There will be a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
