Colleen Dannenberg

Colleen Kathleen Dannenberg, 58, of Rockford, passed away September 12, 2023, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center with family by her side. Born April 24, 1965, in Rockford, the daughter of Michael J. Fowler and Joy A. Heath. Colleen loved life and was a friend to all. She loved her pets, the color red, her fancy boots, and her hair being just perfect. Her glow filled everywhere she roamed. You knew she was in the room with her distinctive voice and laugh. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for anyone. Her kindness was beyond her extremely big heart. She never beat around the bush about anything. What she said is what she meant. God needed her and took my life away as His purpose for her to torment me. Her spirit will thrive in and around each and every soul she has been in contact with. She will be greatly missed by many. Rest in peace my love. Colleen is survived by her loving husband David; son Justin; granddaughter Sloan; mother Joy Boose; father Mike Fowler; brother Patrick (Nikki); niece Amber (David) and nephew Connor; aunts, uncles; cousins; and her pets. She is predeceased by her infant daughter Franchesca; stepmother Mary Fowler; and maternal and paternal grandparents. There will be a Celebration of Life at 2 pm, Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Buster’s Bar and Grill, 7113 N. Alpine Rd., Loves Park, IL 61111.
