Cody Ward

Cody Robert Ward, 34, of Davis Junction, passed away on February 6, 2023. He was born on September 14, 1988, in Defiance, OH. He had attended Stillman Valley High School and worked as a forklift operator. He was of the Christian faith. He had a passion for football, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes and Chicago Bears. He loved to be outdoors, whether it was fishing, boating, or camping. Cody’s favorite thing to do was be with his kids.  Cody is survived by his children Cody and Brittiana Ward and their mother Brittany Meyers, and Coby and Caydon Ward, and step-daughter Ava, and their mother Josie Callahan; his parents Tina and Chris Fant; siblings Scott (Ashley) Gray, Tyler (Samantha) Gray, Jacob (Olivia) Ward, and Joseph Daniels; grandparents Mary Karcher, Roger (Tammy) Fant, and Brenda (Donald) Fant-Whaley; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his father Walter S. Ward; grandparents June and Bob Ward, Norman Karcher, and Joe and Joan Daniels; great-grandmother Dorothy Fronk; uncles Richard Fant, Adam and Cory Karcher, and Randy Ward.
