Cleveland Ohio Jones, Jr., Sunrise December 31, 1947 – Sunset June 20, 2026. He was born in East St. Louis, the son Cleveland Ohio Jones, Sr. and Jennie V. Anderson and the oldest of thirteen children, Allen, Stephen, Diane (deceased), Mary, Billy (deceased), Pattie, Howard, Jerome, Michael, James, Stanley, and Clifford.
When Cleveland was 6 years old the family moved to Chicago and he graduated from Crane High School. He moved to Rockford in 1979 and resided here ever since. He brought 6 kids into the world, Yotusia, Yonisia (deceased), Cleveland Ohio, III, Toya, Rishawn, Clivone, and Tish; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, sisters-in-law, special friend Patricia Meadows, and kids Carla, LaDonna, Phillip.
The following loved ones preceded Cleveland O. Jones in death, his mother Jennie and father Cleveland, sister Diane, and his brother Billy, and his daughter Yonisia.
From sister Pattie: Cleveland was more than a brother, he was a blessing, a source of laughter, strength, and love. His presence filled our lives with memories that time can never erase. Though his voice is now silent, his spirit continues to live in every story we tell you, every smile he inspired and every heart he touched. Love you big brother. Gone but never forgotten.
From sister-in-law Ann: for my brother, gone from sight, but never gone from my heart, thought time has passed and tears still fall, our bond will never part.
From brother, sister, and sister-in-law: the world feels different without you here, yet your spirit still remains, in every cherished memory, and through life’s joys and pain. We are going to miss you big brother. Love you.
From brother Allen: Until the day we meet again, beyond the skies so blue, I carry your love within my soul, love you big bro.
