Christopher Jaworowski

Christopher Carey Jaworowski, 51, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on April 11, 2022 at Swedish American Hospital. Chris was born on January 9, 1971 in Rockford, Illinois, the son of Richard and Sandra (Kurth) Jaworowski. He graduated from Auburn High School, class of 1990. Chris worked for many years as a landscaper and home improvement handyman. Chris loved going to thrift stores, flea markets and swap meets. He proved it true that one man’s trash can be another man’s treasure. Chris also enjoyed attending car shows and cruises. He was always willing to help, even on short notice. Chris was a free-spirited, easygoing guy who loved his family and animals. He did not let world events consume him, but rather lived his life on his own terms.  Chris is loved and missed by his brothers David Jaworowski and Jeff (Nicole) Jaworowski; nephew Aaron; niece Jessica; honorary family member, Corey Gray; as well as numerous other extended family members and friends. Chris is predeceased by both of his parents; brothers Paul Jaworowski and Mark Jaworowski; paternal and maternal grandparents; and nephew Nicholas Jaworowski. A Celebration of Life will be held on April 30, 2022 at Pino’s on Main from 1:00–3:00 pm. 2511 N Main Street Rockford, Illinois 61103. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the amazing nursing staff in the CCU at Swedish American for their loving and attentive care they provided. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Chris’s honor may be made in care of the family to be established at a later date.
