Christina Coleman

Christina Coleman, 43, passed away on Saturday July 24, 2021. She was born in Rockford, IL, April 20, 1978, to Betty and Gary Coleman; now deceased. She left behind three children Kahsaundra, Cody, and Corbin; and two siblings Jerry (Annie), and Kathy, (James). She also left behind her lifelong friend Willie.  Christina was an amazing compassionate person who loved people and animals equally. As a child she would bring home any animal she found, including snakes. As an adult she fed stray cats outside her apartment. Christina loved cooking and regularly made enough to feed an army. It was her dream to make fried chicken as good as her mom’s. She will always be missed.
There will be a Memorial Visitation 1:30 to 2:15 pm, Saturday, July 31, 2021, in Woodside Congregational Church, 2324 S. Alpine Rd., Rockford with a Memorial Service to immediately follow. Pastor Sandra will officiate. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family, 712 Windsor Rd., Loves Park.
