Christiana "Christi" Marie Collins, 41, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at her family home. She was born on Wednesday, March 14, 1984, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Paula (Casto) Chandler and David Collins. Christi graduated with a GED from Rockford Career College. She was passionate about her family and her work. She was a journeyman and a slot machine technician for many years. She married Chadwick Freeman in July of 2024 in Loves Park, IL. Christi was a member of many local unions, 217, 193, and 85. She had a passion for helping others, no matter what.

Survivors include her eldest son Ian Williams (23) and youngest son Elijah Collins (19) and adopted daughter Ineta Leerhoff (23); sisters Brittany and Alyssa Chandler; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many other beloved family and friends. She is predeceased by her father David Collins and grandparents Mary Ann and Harold Casto.
