Charles Graves

Charles “Chuck” Graves, 71, passed away on March 16, 2026. He was born on August 13, 1954, to Charles Graves and Juanita (Herbsleb) Flynn.

Chuck and Sue started dating in June of 1998, and the two married on March 22, 2003. They shared many years together, filled with love and support.

He dedicated over 20 years of his career as a car salesman with Kishwaukee Auto Corral, where he was known for his hard work.

Chuck loved riding his Harley with his buddies and taking his wife out on quiet rides alone. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He also loved riding horses with his sister Sally and friends. He will be remembered for his kind heart and joy he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Charles is survived by his wife Sue; children, Kim (Jamie) Blau, Cassity (Ryan) Crane, Brent Graves, and Brian Graves; grandchildren, Alexis, Nolan, Caden, Jaylee, Dalton, Owen, and Charlee; one great-grandchild, Zalaya; sister Sally (Tom) Kiser; sister-in-law, Kathy (Jeff) Raia, and Cindy Thompson; nieces and nephew, Faith Thompson, Joseph Raia, and Korrina Graves; great nieces, Gigi Graves and Willow Thompson; father-in-law, Bill Thompson; Special people in his life; previous wife Tina and two daughters they raised Melissa and Crissy. Chuck has so many great friends that we can’t list them all. May he rest in peace with his beloved dog DasieMae.

Charles is predeceased by both parents; brother-in-law Merl Kiser; and mother-in-law Sandy Thompson; special friend Al Eccles.
