Charles Allen

Charles “Chuck” Braden Allen, age 63, of Beloit, passed away at home on Thursday, June 25, 2020. He was born January 1, 1957, in Beloit, WI, to Rosemary (Bailey) Hanmer and named Charles Norman Bailey. As a young boy, he and his half-brother, Richard Collins, entered the foster care program and joined the family of Rolland and Faye Allen, Evansville, WI, where he grew into adulthood. When he was of age, he made the decision to legally change his middle and last name to Braden Allen. Charles is survived by his half brothers, Richard Collins and Robert Bailey; and Allen siblings: Scott, Toni, Audre, Russell, Laura, and Eric. He was previously married to Gloria Dutcher for 13 years and was a father figure to her three children, Brian, Bill, and Angie. We would like to thank his special friends, Greg and Becky Guernsey who took him under their wing and helped him throughout his adult life and passing, and Mercyhealth Hospice for their end of life care.
