Cecil "Wayne" Thurman

June 5, 1940 — May 11, 2024

Cecil “Wayne” Thurman, 83, of Loves Park, IL, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024. He was born on June 5, 1940, in Gallatin, TN, to Edward and Lillian Thurman. He was employed at Chrysler in Belvidere for thirty years before retiring. He enjoyed camping, gardening, and learning about history. He was also a dedicated Chicago Bears fan and cheered on the Tennessee Titans along with many high school football teams too. He was married to his wife Linda for 38 years.

Survivors include his wife, Linda; sons Danny (Lettie) and Patrick; daughter Robin (Scott); stepchildren Dean and Michelle, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family, 6204 Forest Hills Rd., Loves Park, IL 61111.
