Cassandra Tomassi

Cassandra “Cassie” Elizabeth Tomassi, 30, of Belvidere, passed away on June 5, 2022. She was born on July 23, 1991, in Daytona Beach, Florida; the daughter of Louis A and Laura J (Richter) Tomassi, Jr. She graduated from Belvidere High School in 2009. Cassie enjoyed being outdoors and exploring nature. Some of her favorite things to do was hiking, kayaking, and rock collecting. She also shared her mother’s interest in needlepoint and cross stitch.  Cassie is survived by her father Louis A. Tomassi, Jr. and her brother Tony Tomassi. She is predeceased by her mother Laura; her paternal grandparents (Papa) Louis A. Tomassi, Sr. and (Nana) Norma Jean Tomassi; and her maternal grandparents Herman and Nancy Richter.
