Carol Donahue

Carol was born January 24, 1961, in Chicago IL. She is the daughter of the late Michael and Mitsuko Reschke. She passed away peacefully at her home, in her bed in Rockford IL on January 15, 2023. Carol left behind 4 siblings: Frank and Robert Reschke, Barbara Curtis and Linda McElheny. As well as 5 children; Christopher and Daniel McGarry, Kathleen, Patricia, and Carolyn Donahue. As well as 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and 2 nephews and a niece.  Carol loved spending time with the family and relaxing playing The Sims, listening to some good music and drinking a nice room temperature Dr. Pepper. Carol also loved to cook. Making up or tweaking recipes was one of her absolute favorite things to do. She loved to find recipes that the grandbabies could help her with. She was very smart and funny; and would help her family anyway she could. She will be missed by sooo very many!  A Memorial will be on Carol's birthday on January 24th at Sinnissippi from noon to 3.
