Candice “Candy” D. Morris, 77, passed away on March 19, 2026. She was born on July 30, 1948, to William and Arlene (Thibeault) Geiger.
Candy began her career as a hairstylist after graduating high school, something she took pride in. She enjoyed going out to dinner with family and friends, sharing a meal and good memories.
Above all, Candy deeply loved her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandson Drake. Whether it was making sure the bird feeder was always full or bringing him along to her water aerobics classes, where all her friends knew and adored him. Those moments meant everything to her. Her love extended not only to her grandson but also to his best friend.
Candy took great pride in her home, keeping it clean and welcoming. She often kept the curtains drawn back, no matter the weather, allowing sunlight to fill her space.
She held a special connection to her heritage through her grandmother, who was of Ojibwe Cherokee descent. Candy also adored her beloved dog, Bailey, who brought her comfort and companionship.
Candy believed that seeing a cardinal was a sign of her mother’s presence. Now, in a beautiful continuation of that tradition, her grandson Drake, will think of Candy whenever he sees a cardinal.
Candy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Candy is remembered by her daughter Denise (Alex) Haffenden; grandson, Drake Salazar; nephews James (Maria) Kramer, Kevin (Lisa) Kramer; brother-in-law Ken Kramer; close friend, Tami Sterenberg; and many other friends; and her dog Bailey.
Candy is predeceased by her parents; and her sister Pat Kramer.
