Brian Lynn Patterson, 54, of Rockford, IL, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. He was born on May 16, 1969, in Rockford, to Athel and Louise (Hendrix) Patterson. He attended Harlem High School. He was an auto mechanic for several years and owned Sr.’s Automotive for the past 6 years. Brian loved spending time with his family especially his children and grandchildren, enjoyed trap shooting, fishing, motorcycle rides and going on motorcycle vacation trips.

Survived by his wife Paula (Heavlin) Patterson of Rockford, his son Brian (Nichole) Patterson of Machesney Park, his daughter Krystal (Trevor) Darrow of Winnebago, his parents Athel and Louise (Hendrix) Patterson of Roscoe, brother Anthony (Susan) Patterson of Machesney Park, sister Sheila Patterson of Machesney Park, his grandchildren Jett Patterson, Leila Jones, Melanie Schewe, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his grandparents John and Mary Patterson, Clarence and Elsie Hendrix, aunt Bea Streeter, and uncle Wallis Patterson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the SMSF Park 7625 Kishwaukee Rd., Stillman Valley, IL 61085, on Friday, May 17, 2024, 5 to 10 PM at the pavilion.
