Brian Mccauley

Brian Keith McCauley, 50, of Rockford, passed away on February 16, 2023, in Swedish American Hospital. He was born on January 22, 1973, in Rockford; the son of Gary and Elsie (Wiseley) McCauley.  Brian was a very creative remodeler for rental homes owned by his dad, brother and customers.  He took great pleasure in showing his pictures taken of the jobs he had finished.  He learned a lot of his skills from working with his dad Gary.  He loved to watch the news, and anything to do with history and real life.  Survivors include his siblings Don (Valerie Creedon) McCauley, Steven McCauley, and Amanda (Tim Stivers) Wiseley and her children Jace Opsahl, Tavian Cleveland and Kimberlynn Stivers; aunt and uncle Fern and Steve Hatfield, Mike (Cathy) Wiseley, Donna (Duane) Sawtelle, Gale (Craig) Deluhery.  He was predeceased by his parents Gary and Elsie.  There will be Celebration of Life at a later date.
