Brian Liekam

Brian Joseph Leikam, 59, passed away in his Loves Park, Illinois home on Saturday August 7, 2021. Brian was a proud Air Force veteran. He was a founding member and Sachem of the Fox Nation group and was a fixture at Camp Anokiji, teaching Native American arts and crafts and telling stories, for many years. Brian was a Dungeons and Dragons player, DM, and game module author. He followed the Cubs and Bears faithfully, and his joy when the Cubbies went all the way was immense. Brian will be missed by many. Brian is survived by his wife, Carla; brother Barry Leikam; sisters Erin (Bruce) Murphy, Kelly Hartman, Katie (Brian) Peterson; children Joe (Katie) Leikam, Jenny (Jason) Tennant, Sara (Thomas) Morgan, Marcus (Abbey Dean) Leikam; grandchildren Vincent Leikam and Mina Morgan; nieces and nephews Lacey, Lindsay, Bobby, Tara, Jimmy, Kelsey, Lucas, Tom, Tony and Talya. Predeceaased by his parents Thomas "Sam" Leikam and Patricia West Leikam, sister Tracy Gerambino, and nieces Aubree and Amber. Per his wishes, no services will be held, and his family will scatter his ashes in the Chippewa Flowage in Wisconsin.
