Brad Schaver

Brad Arnold Schaver, 51, of Rockford, passed away on July 26, 2021, in P.A. Peterson. Born April 25, 1970, in Rockford; son of Arnold and Glenda (Lamoreux) Schaver. Brad graduated from East High School. He married Christine M. Tesdorff on November 11, 2000. He was a CAD operator/designer for Legacy Designs. Brad enjoyed fishing with his dad and his best friend since birth, Heath Layng. Brad is survived by his wife Christine Tesdorff-Schaver; sons Samuel and Maxwell Schaver; mother Glenda (Mark) Kerkering; his furry friend Yoda; sister Melissa (Dave) Hickey; several nieces and nephews; and grandmother Pauline Tegeler Schaver. He is predeceased by his father Arnold; and grandfather Willard Schaver. The family would like to extend a special thank you to P.A. Peterson and Northern Illinois Hospice for their care and compassion. A Celebration of Life and picnic/barbeque will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 2 pm at Kilbuck Creek Forest Preserve in the Edgewood Shelter, 3020 South Bend Rd, Rockford, IL 61109. This was one of Brad’s favorite places to fish. A moment of remembrance will be at 2:30 pm lead by Pastor Michael Kelley Hidalgo. Licensed fishing is welcome.
