Brad Cayse

Brad William Cayse, 67, of Rockford, passed away in his home on September 15, 2023. Born December 8, 1955, in Lafayette, IN; the son of Ernest and Gaynel (Green) Cayse-Flack. He graduated from Preble High School in 1974 and went into the US Navy after graduation. Brad married Flora Luciano on February 11, 1983. He worked as a machine operator for Northwind Concrete Products in South Beloit. Brad was a Green Bay Packer fan. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. Brad and Flora enjoyed traveling and enjoyed going up to his parents’ cabin in Wisconsin. Survivors include his loving wife, Flora; son Ryan (Julie) Cayse; grandchildren Oliver Cayse and twins Hank and Dalia Cayse; brother Bruce Cayse; niece Megan Cayse; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews, especially nieces Melissa, Trisha, and Jennifer. He is predeceased by his parents; stepfather Pete Flack; and sister Denise Hetlend. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, October 7, 2023, in St. Bridgette’s Catholic Church, 600 Clifford Ave., Loves Park, IL 61111 with Rev. Aaron Downing officiating.
