Betty Perkins

Betty Jean Perkins, 91, of Rockford, passed away on July 19, 2023, in River Bluff Nursing Home. She was born on September 13, 1931, the daughter of Paul and Beulah (Stause) Badura. She was married to Robert Perkins, and he passed away in 2005. Betty worked for Sunstrand and retired in 1993. She enjoyed watching Lifetime movies and loved to cook. Her sons have fond memories of her making salmon patties and are very happy they have the recipe. Survivors include her children Karen (Steve) Quade, Robert (Debra) Wagner, and Brad (Julie) Wagner; grandchildren Paul, Michael, Beth, Kristen, Erica, Amber, Lindsey, Hannah, Kristin, Ariel, and Rick; and numerous great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, husband Robert, son Jeff Wagner, and brother Don Badura.  A Celebration of Life will be announced later.
