Betty Grispino

Betty D. Grispino, 77, of Belvidere, died November 3, 2019 in Swedish American Belvidere Campus. Born March 21, 1942 in Wallace, North Carolina; daughter of Kenneth and Lindell (Fairbanks) West. Married James Grispino on April 23, 1960. Betty was a kind and loving person. She loved to bake and sew for everyone. She was known for giving away “Betty Dolls” and touched a lot of lives through her generosity. Survivors include her husband of 60 years Jim; daughters Sherri Thorsen and Lorrie (Kevin) Lavender; grandchildren Brandy Lavender, Bryan Thorsen, Scott Lavender, and Nicholas Lavender; great grandchildren Michael and Stephanie Benevides; sisters Angela (Jerome) Mills, Kathy (Thomas) Brown, and Wanda (Jimmy) Meeks; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and sister Peggy. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date and will be announced. Stateline Cremations is assisting the family, 7307 N.
