Bernard Banks

Bernard Anthony Banks, 22, of Rockford, passed away and was found on April 20, 2023. He was born on August 19, 2000, in Chicago, the son of Theresa L. Banks. Bernard enjoyed peace and quiet. He loved to play Call of Duty and binge watch his favorite tv shows. Bernard is survived by his mother Theresa L. Banks; his foster mom Sherrie Bassett; brothers Dontaye, London, and Montique Banks, and many foster siblings; nephews Dy-hir and Kayden Banks; niece Ariayaah; grandmother Gloria Banks; aunties Catherine and Angela Banks; several cousins; and many friends that were as close as family. He is predeceased by 1 child; and his great-grandmother Kitty Banks. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
