Bena M. Wenz, 94, of Rockford, IL, passed away on February 18, 2025. Born on February 19, 2025, in South Beloit, IL, daughter of Ben and Mary Sciacca.
Bea worked in the restaurant business for many years as hostess and enjoyed talking with the customers. She also enjoyed making crafts and working out in the garden with her flowers. For many years they enjoyed being snowbirds down in Texas to get away from the Northern Illinois winters.
Survivors include Dan (Jan) Wenz, Jr. of Wesley Chapel, FL; Russell (Pam) Wenz of White House, TN; Ken Wenz of St. Petersburg, FL; grandmother of many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; and many siblings.
She is predeceased by her husband Dan Wenz, Sr. of more than 65 years of marriage; and her parents Ben and Mary Sciacca.
