Austine “Tina” G. Baumann, 69, of Harvard, Illinois, passed away surrounded by family in her home on Monday, July 26, 2021. Tina was born to Jennie and Eugene Piasecki on January 25, 1952, in St. Augustine, Florida. Tina grew up in Chicago, graduating from a local high school, before her move to the Harvard, Illinois area around 1990. On May 2, 1996, Tina married the love of her life, Rodney Baumann. Tina was a familiar face in the Harvard area, serving as a bartender at Ray and Nancy’s Bar. Before retirement, she was a medical receptionist with Mercy Health. Amidst her great love for her family, she also had a great love for her cats, dogs, and horses. Anyone that knew Tina, knew that she had a lifelong passion for horses, even achieving multiple ribbons and awards for her riding. She is the beloved wife of Rodney Baumann.  She is survived by four children, Megahann (Gisele) Theriault of Watertown, Connecticut; Rodney Baumann Jr. (Niki Bean) of New London, Wisconsin; Elizabethe (David) Saxby of Watertown, Wisconsin; Molly Baumann of Madison, Wisconsin; dearest friends, Michelle Boettcher and Mark Hage; grandchildren, Adria Saxby, Matthew Lewis, Myah Andrews, Marlon Andrews, Briggs Theriault, Kaligraphy Washington; dear sister, of Eugene Felix Piasecki (Janet), aunt of Tracy, Kelly (Bryce Kirchmeier) and Dawn Piasecki, great aunt of Grayden, Preston and Hudson Kirchmeier, dear niece of Antoinette Pellegrino (Attillio) and Carol Greco, Mother-in-law, Shirley Zabler; father-in-law, Arnie (Lorretta) Baumann; sister-in-law, Diane Smiley; brothers-in-law, Dennis (Heidi) Baumann, Dale (Cindy) Baumann; step-brother-in-law, Jeff (Cindy) Zabler; step-sister-in-law, Jane (Howard) Zabler; beloved horse, Misty. ? Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Jennie and Eugene Piasecki; horses, Andrey, King and Lady. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Mercy Health Hospice for their love and support to the family during this difficult time. A private service will take place for Tina. Any memorials may be made to the family, and sent to Stateline Cremations, who is assisting the family, at 712 Windsor Road, Loves Park, Illinois, 61111.
