Arthur Cruse

Arthur W. Cruse, Jr., 77, of Stillman Valley, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, IL. He was born on February 9, 1942, in Sparta, WI; the son of Arthur W. and Ruby (Adams) Cruse, Sr. Art graduated from South Beloit, Class of 1960. He then serviced in the US Navy. He married Leah Wedig on June 10, 1972. His last job was a truck driver for Simon’s Trucking of Farley, Iowa.  He is survived by his wife Leah of 46 years; children Tina Cruse (Gene Holtz), Tammy Cruse (Randy Livingston), and his son Christopher (Melissa) Cruse; grandchildren Eddie Torrance, Jr, Ashley Cruse, Albert Livingston, Darion Livingston, Amanda McMasters, and Adam Cruse; and 7 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers O. Roy (Linda), Spencer, David, Bruce (Debbie), and Richard. Proceeded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, and 2 sisters-in-law. Private services are pending at this time.
