Ann M. (Scott- Dicks) Folyer
On February 1,2025 Ann passed away in her home surrounded by her family.
Ann was born June 16,1941 in Monroe, Wis. She was the only child to Winfield (Scotty) Scott and Helen Gleason. She graduated from Clinton High School in Clinton, Wisconsin. She also attended NIU and Whitewater College.
She then was employed at the Beloit Corp in Beloit, Wisconsin. Where she then met LeRoy Dicks, they married and had only daughter Shelley Dicks.
LeRoy passed in 79, and Shelley and her mom's bond became so very strong.
She then became employed at Macktown State Bank (now is known as First National) in Rockton for 25+ years. At that time, she met the love of her life Clair Folyer. They were married and shared 35+ years together.
During this time together she cherished the other love of her life, two amazing grandkids Brittney McKnight (Chad) and TJ Lewis (Angel).
They were grandma's whole world, she also got to cherish four beautiful great grandkids Mariyah, Zaedyn, Logec and Boston, who kept her going every day.
Ann also loved the ocean, her favorite place. Her and Clair got to share a trip to Hawaii, Shelley and the kids also got her to the ocean one more time to Florida. She was so happy whenever she seen the ocean. She also had yellow as her favorite color. We always had yellow roses or yellow fresh cut flowers at the table. She said yellow was so bright, always made for a beautiful day.
Ann had the biggest heart and a smile that lit up the room. She was Shelley's mom and best friend. A loss so deep it will never be forgotten.
Ann was survived by her daughter Shelley Dicks, grandkids Brittney McKnight and TJ Lewis, great grandkids Mariyah, Zaedyn, Logec, and Boston; along with cousins, and very special friends. And very special companion Macy.
Ann was preceded by her parents Winfield and Helen Scott, LeRoy Dicks, Clair Folyer, and her very close cousin Arthur (Skipper) Simes, along with grandparents, uncles, aunts, sister in-laws and brother in-laws.
A very special thanks to OSF Hospice and Shelly at OSF Home Health Care. Also, to the Roscoe Methodist Church.
