Allan Thiel

We are sad to announce on January 7th, 2023, loving husband Allan Joseph Thiel of Rockford, Illinois, passed away surrounded by his loved ones in his home at the age of 82. Allan was born October 26th,1940, to Jacob and Melania Miller Thiel in the small town of Johnsburg, Illinois. His mother was a wonderful homemaker, and his father was a talented carpenter who taught his boys all he knew. Allan spent most of his years working for the family business between Illinois and Florida up until his recent retirement. Allan was a devoted husband to his wife Judy (Stewart) Thiel for 44 years. He was passionate for his wife, pets (Allan was especially close with his Yorkie Charlie, they were in separable) his job and working around the house and yard.  He is survived by his wife Judy (Stewart)Thiel, his children, Ronald Thiel, Patricia (Thiel) Ullrich, Linda (Thiel) Pelc, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his son James Thiel. Please respect the family’s privacy at this time as a private service will be held.
