UPDATED SERVICE INFORMATION: Allan Eugene Biedowicz, 74, of Rockford, passed away in his home on February 15, 2023, surrounded by his family.  Born March 29, 1948, in Chicago; the son of Henry and Teresa (Schneider) Biedowicz.  Allan graduated from the University of Chicago, Circle Campus in 1972.  He married Annegret M. Toepritz on April 28, 1973.  He was an owner/operator for Landstar Systems, Inc. for 25 years and earned many prestigious awards within the company such as the coveted Roadstar Award and the Million Mile Award. Allan served in many capacities in the church, most recently as an usher of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Upon his retirement he started woodworking as a hobby and enjoyed making furniture. He is survived by his loving wife Anne; children Amanda (Miccah) Johnson, Alicia Rossi, and Alec Biedowicz; grandchildren Christopher (Schelby) Johnson, Ashten Johnson, Addisen Johnson, Brittany (Matthew) Warner, and Alexandria Schuessler; great grandchildren Adalyn, Xavier, Harper, Nova, Kayla, Atlas, Beau, Levi, Dominic, Benjamin, Zayden, and Nala.  He is preceded in death by his granddaughter Alexandria Johnson, and his parents Henry and Teresa Biedowicz. He is preceded in death by his granddaughter Alexandria Johnson, and his parents. A Memorial Service will be at 11 am, Friday, March 3, 2023, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2831 N. Bell School Rd. Rockford, IL 61107 with a visitation at 10 am until time of service.  In lieu of flowers you can donate to Lymphoma research at
