Adam Birner

Adam Richard Birner, Jr., 76, of Rockford, passed away on October 6, 2024, at PA Peterson. He was born on July 19, 1948, in Sparta, WI; the son of Adam, Sr., and Ruth (Porter) Birner. He served in the US Army and earned a Purple Heart during the Vietnam Conflict. Adam married Debra Minick on July 9, 1977, in Rockford. He started at Chrysler and then worked for Sundstrand for 29 years. Adam was an avid Packer fan and followed all of Wisconsin’s teams. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, and was on a bowling league. Adam was a private pilot and enjoyed traveling to the Wisconsin Dells with his family.

He is survived by his wife Debra; daughters Anna (Kody) Nicholson and Kari Birner; grandpets Molly, Blondie, Phin, Poppy, Winnie, and Dolly; brothers Larry (Eileen) Birner, Robert (Sue) Birner, and David (Judy) Birner; several nieces, nephew, and cousins. Predeceased by his parents and nephew Jamie Birner.
